Web 1.0, then web 2.0 and now Web 3.0, What is it? With the emergence of blockchain technology, these new types of assets are owned by an ever-increasing number of people, requiring professionals to possess a basic understanding to best serve their clients. Whether cryptocurrencies, NFT, DAO’s and other blockchain based classes of assets, practitioners are now required to understand how they came about and how they work. Through this program practitioners will delve into the history of blockchain, how they work, how they are created and stored, how to detect and conduct basic discovery. Practitioners will learn about the various issues and risks associated with these assets. This is a two-part comprehensive program that will be an interactive lecture with question and answers interspersed throughout.

About Presenter:
Ido Alexander is dedicated to helping his clients identify risks and understand how to navigate the unknowns. A forward thinker, Ido is building a broad and deep knowledge of the ever-evolving legal implications of technological developments in blockchain/crypto space. He is the founder of AlignX Law, a firm dedicated to blockchain advisory and investigation services, and bankruptcy law. He is certified as a Cryptocurrency Tracing Certified Examiner (CTCE) by CipherTrace. Ido developed his knowledge in the crypto space while representing government appointed fiduciaries, assisting them with investigation and recovery of cryptocurrency. He regularly represents clients including trustees, debtors, and creditors in Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy cases. Ido served as an officer of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida from 2011-2017, holding various positions, culminating with his successful tenure as President of the organization in 2016/2017. Ido graduated from the Law and Business Schools at the University of Miami with a JD and MBA with emphasis on Finance and Commercial and Bankruptcy Law. He has a BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
