This American Life: Collaborative Divorce

This American Life is a weekly public radio program and podcast. Each week we choose a theme and put together different kinds of stories on that theme.

As Collaborative Professionals we love hearing stories about peaceful divorce and couples who can put their emotions aside to settle their difference and divorce. On last weeks episode of This American Life, show host Ira Glass interviews New York lawyer Barry Berkman about how the justice system is not fit to help families solve their problems. Barry explains how the Collaborative Process allows couples to create a co-parenting plan that is unique and works best for their specific family unit.
